Paul Burling, comedy impressionist, is 41 and a father of 3 from Bristol . Paul Has worked the holiday parks and comedy circuit for 25 years before he was discovered on 2010 Britain’s got talent. After watching his act Simon Cowell exclaimed:
You’ve worked 25 years for this opportunity. The problem with TV at the moment is that it’s snobby. People want fancy French instead of fish and chips. I like fish and chips, you’re fish and chips and you should be in the final.”

Paul Burling has been approached by ITV to make an impressionist comedy show called “It’s Paul Burling”. It will air on ITV on 22nd Dec at 8pm and will repeat on Friday 31st December at 6pm.

Paul currently has a #3 iPhone App called Burlings Voice Booth and has sold tens of thousands of apps since release 2 weeks ago.

Piers Morgan said of Paul, “I loved it, you are a natural entertainer, showed us loads more voices, …absolutely great!

Since finishing BGT he has had messages of support from some of the celebrities he mimics in his act. TV Burp star Harry Hill called Paul from Spain to pass on his best wishes for the show and even hinted that there might be the possibility of working together on a TV project. Paul said “An ITV boss came up to me and said, ‘Harry sends his regards from Spain and he thinks you are brilliant, maybe we can do something together?’.
“I was like ‘Wow, brilliant’. He is there on one of the biggest programmes on TV.”
But he is not the only celeb to heap praise on the rising comedy performer.
Little Britain star Matt Lucas has praised Paul’s impression of diet club boss Marjorie Dawes. Paul was “absolutely gobsmacked.”

Paul is in Panto in Chattham this Christmas, but is available for 2011 bookings.

His ITV Pilot show “It’s Paul Burling” attracted 3.7 million viewers and was #2 trend on Twitter that night.

It is being repeated 31st December at 6pm on ITV1.
