郭正堂: 博士、研究员。1964年生于山西省应县。1983年于北京大学地貌学与第四纪地质学专业获学士学位,1985年于法国波尔多大学第四纪学院获硕士学位,1990年于法国玛丽-居里大学(巴黎第六大学)环境地质系获博士学位(土壤学)。1991年起在中国科学院地质研究所从事博士后研究,后留所工作。1993年任副研究员,1996年任研究员,1997年获国家杰出青年科学基金。2002-2006年期间任中国科学院地球环境研究所研究员、所长。曾当选国际第四纪研究联合会(INQUA)古气候委员会副主席、国际地圈生物圈计划(IGBP)古全球变化(PAGES)科学指导委员会委员、“环球环境大断面(PEP-II)”国际项目负责人之一。现任全球变化中国委员会古全球变化工作组组长;中国地质学会第四纪冰川与第四纪地质专业委员会副主任委员;中国第四纪研究委员会副秘书长、黄土专业委员会主任、地层专业委员会副主任;《科学通报》执行副主编;《第四纪研究》常务副主编及多家学术期刊编委成员。

一、过去主持和参加的主要科研项目
  • 1989年参加法国1:50000 区域土壤制图,完成了L'Isle Jourdain幅的制图工作,任考察分队队长。
  • 1990年参加法国香槟酒跨行业委员会(CIVC)与莱恩大学组织的大型科研项目“香槟葡萄种植土壤的生物与结构状况”,主持其中土壤地质专题的研究,并为总项目总结报告的主要执笔人之一。
  • 1994.12-1995.8:参加了UNESCO-IUGS的全球古环境制图计划。
  • 1999.01-2002.05: PAGES的亚澳环球环境大断面(PEP-II)国际项目Co-Leader
