Brangelina land in Malta this afternoon
Hollywood power couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie landed in Malta this afternoon by private jet.
The couple came to Malta with their six children in tow – three of which are biological, the other three being adopted – after travelling from Los Angeles on a Bombardier Global Express jet.
Pitt is set to start work on World War Z, a high-concept zombie film which he will also be producing, after having wrestled Leonardo Di Caprio for the rights to the project, which is an adaptation of a critically acclaimed novel by Max Brooks.
Filming is set to begin in mid July, and will centre largely around the Valletta and The Three Cities. Unconfirmed reports revealed that extras chosen to be zombies are required to undergo rigorous physical training, with ‘zombie school’ a boot camp-like programme being set up by the production company itself.
Malta will be used as a stand-in for Israel in the globe-hopping film, which will see Brad Pitt’s character – a UN agent – interviewing survivors of a global zombie attack 10 years after the near-cataclysmic event rocked the globe.
