Disney sent out the info for Phineas & Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension numbers over the weekend, so its Friday domination is no surprise. It was by far the most-watched program of the night with 7.6 million (and it was the most-watched basic cable movie so far this year). Its 1.3 rating with adults 18-49 was also tops for the night.. For more info see the Disney release.

Friday Night Smackdown! was up a tenth versus last week with a 0.9 adults 18-49 rating. Haven was down a tenth to a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating. The ThunderCats dropped to a 0.6 adults 18-49 rating and 1.5 million viewers in its second week, down from its premiere that had a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and 2.4 million viewers.

Torchwood: Miracle Day isn't in the table below but it averaged 582K viewers at 10pm (and a 0.25 A18-49 rating), up 7% from last week's 545K viewers.

We only receive the top 100 cable shows for adults 25-54 for the whole day from our source. If you don’t see an original episode of a show here, it’s because it wasn’t in the top 100. I attempt to filter out repeats, kids shows, and most non-primetime shows. Will add extras that @TravisYanan reports later below.

Go Phineas and Ferb!!! I think they should’ve put out a new episode of Ant Farm after it instead. I hope that the episodic Phineas and Ferb keep consistent. I notice they do better in prime time.

  2. luisl

Thundercats ratings are good or bad?

  3. @luisl: Being that it probably lost some audience to Phineas and Ferb, I don’t think its ratings were too bad.

  4. KK

Jersey Shore repeat gets 0.5, eh? I’ll bet that’s excellent for MTV on Friday night, since it’s core demo is likely to be out n about.

  5. Stephen

Phineas and ferb smacks down smackdown in the ratings lol. 7.6 million in the ratings is not shabby at all

  6. lolly

Why only numbers for first airing of Torchwood? What happened to the weekend numbers? Are you not getting them anymore? It’s a bit hard to compare from week to week when we’re not getting the full numbers.

  7. JD

Glad Torchwood was up…consistently fun and intriguing…hopefully it gets renewed.

  8. Rabbit

Man, Tom & Jerry is still going strong after all these years.

  9. Johnthemon

Sadface at Thundercats. It was really good Friday (well, as good as could be expected). I’ll bet a bunch of people DVR’d it though, due to P&F, so next week it should (hopefully) bounce back a bit.

  10. amiari

    I love Phineas and Ferb!!!

  11. Johnthemon

@JD, it should come as consolation that the American numbers mean virtually zilch when it comes to the show’s renewal prospects, it’s already a hit in Britain.

  12. Ram510

Smackdown has been pretty good lately nice to see it go up and I hope next week it reaches a 1.0.

Thundercats is an OK show, I’m not surprised by the drop in ratings.

And I’m confused about Phineas & Ferb, I thought when it first came out nobody was watching and it got move to Disney XD. Now somehow it’s a huge hit???? Am I missing something?

  13. Matthew

The premiere of Phineas & Ferb after High School Musical 2 got like 10 million viewers. It gets pretty good ratings on Saturday mornings. It was said that new episodes of P & F would premiere on Disney XD first not because it was getting bad ratings on DC but to build up XD. I think Suite Life on Deck was supposed to move to XD too.

  14. Jon

Thundercats was hurt by Phineas and Ferb but the demo was stable, I think it will rebound next week, I suspect when CN return to all orginals in September, Thundercats will get a boost from Star Wars.

  15. SPJava

Any info on what TW: MD’s viewer numbers were for the 11pm airing on Friday? Thanks!

  16. @SP Java, no I didn’t see it yet, but should tomorrow morning if Nick doesn’t post them earlier.

for the two people who care about “Plantinum Hit” it ended its season with season lows: 243K viewers and a 0.1 adults 18-49 rating.

  17. Wolf

Does anyone know the ratings for Bravo’s Platinum Hit finale?

  18. @Wolf,see the comment directly above yours.

  19. SPJava

@Robert As always, thank you so much. And because I’m a bit dense how would I get to where Nick might post numbers. >.<

  20. Nick

Torchwood replay also was up from last week (+13% in viewers, +42% in A18-49):

Torchwood: Miracle Day (STARZ, 11 PM)
    -0.442 million viewers
    -0.17 A18-49

But Iron Man and Wolverine were both down from last week and also lost total viewers and A18-49 from its movie lead-in, though they did double the movie’s A18-34 rating.

    Iron Man (G4, 11 PM)
    -0.063 million viewers
    -0.04 A18-49
    -0.04 A18-34

    Wolverine (G4, 11:30 PM)
    -0.082 million viewers
    -0.04 A18-49
    -0.05 A18-34

And I’m assuming this had something to do with Phineas & Ferb, but Thundercats lost almost half its K6-11 audience from last week:

    -0.56 A18-34 (-36% from last week)
    -1.32 K6-11(-48% from last week)

Finally, night 10 of ’90s Are All That’ in case anybody’s still interested.

    All That (TeenNick, 12 AM)
    -0.194 million viewers (+218% from 11:30 lead-in What I Like About You)
    -0.05 A18-49 (+400% from lead-in)
    -0.08 A18-34 (+700% from lead-in)

Kenan and Kel (TeenNick, 12:30 AM)
    -0.256 million viewers
    -0.06 A18-49
    -0.12 A18-34

Clarissa Explains It All (TeenNick, 1 AM)
    -0.262 million viewers
    -0.07 A18-49
    -0.14 A18-34

    Doug (TeenNick, 1:30 AM)
    -0.284 million viewers
    -0.10 A18-49
    -0.19 A18-34

    All That (TeenNick, 2 AM)
    -0.219 million viewers
    -0.08 A18-49
    -0.11 A18-34

Kenan and Kel (TeenNick, 2:30 AM)
    -0.237 million viewers
    -0.08 A18-49
    -0.12 A18-34
