Player profile
Norman Leslie James was a centre-half who figured briefly at the start of the 1930's. Tom Bradshaw was the regular No. 5 at the time and when he missed 7 of the 42 First Division fixtures in 1930-31, James covered for him on all seven occasions. James wasn't selected at all during 1931-32 as Tom Bradshaw was an ever-present that season and made just one more appearance again as cover for Bradshaw when Sunderland visited Anfield on 3rd December 1932.
