787 heads to Japan to begin passenger service
The first 787 Dreamliner delivered by Boeing took off early Tuesday for Japan, where All Nippon Airways will launch it into passenger service late next month.

Wright Runstad faces foreclosure on former Amazon HQ
Seattle developer Wright Runstad has defaulted on its loan on the PacMed building — Amazon's former headquarters on Beacon Hill — and the lender has begun foreclosure proceedings, according to a recent loan servicer's report.
Future of forests near Port Gamble in the balance
Owner Olympic Property Group wants to shed forests adjacent to Port Gamble and is in intense negotiations with local tribes, environmental groups and Kitsap County planners. One major voice is that of the Port Gamble S'Klallam Tribe, led by chairman Jeromy Sullivan. To them, historic Port Gamble represents a 150-year-old land grab that they yearn to see corrected.
