The development of the MH2000 commercial helicopter, which had been dreamed of for a long time, was started in April 1995. This is the first purely Japanese-made commercial helicopter. All the dynamic components are made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. (MHI). The MH2000 features low noise, safety and a comfortable cabin. Type certificate was issued on June 26, 1997, type certificate amendment on January 12, 1998 and an airworthiness certificate for the second aircraft on January 13, 1998. This was the first step for the MH2000. We are manufacturing the first lot of production MH2000.
