TUCSON, Ariz. -- There have been new developments in the Loughner shooting investigation.
Pima County Sheriff's deputies say they believe they've found Jared Loughner's black bag.
Loughner's father reported chasing him into the desert after seeing him pull a bag out of his car.
A man called the sheriff's office after spotting a bag while he walked his dog early Thursday morning.
Inside it deputies found 9 mm ammunition. It's believed to be the same ammunition Loughner used in his shooting spree.
"There's still a lot of work to do but as far as the new information that is coming out, the black bag was pretty much the one item we were still looking for and i said before we believe this is the bag," said Pima County Sheriff's Deputy Jason Ogan.
The bag has been handed over to the f-b-i for forensic tests.
Once those tests are done, they'll be able to confirm for sure if it is loughner's bag.
