An Annotated Bibliography of the First 300
Publications of the Borgo Press, 1975-1998

by Robert Reginald and Mary A. Burgess

In 1975 Robert Reginald and Mary A. Burgess founded The Borgo Press, a small publishing house located in San Bernardino, California. From the beginning the main program of the Press focused on literature, theatre, music, history, political science, and related topics, reflecting the personal interests of the founders. The first two publications from Borgo appeared in April, 1976, and thence the Press averaged about a dozen new publications annually, with the total annual production rising substantially after 1990. In addition, Borgo added a hundred thirty-four other titles to its catalogue through purchase or inheritance, bringing its total proprietary list to over four hundred volumes. Its final book was published in December of 1998.

Here is a complete, annotated bibliography of all 300 publications of The Borgo Press and its affiliated imprints, plus supplemental lists of titles acquired from other firms. Complete with Introduction, Series Index, Author Index, and Title Index.
