I was recently at an event that was catered by Angelina’s and the food was excellent. The grape leaved were the best I’d ever tasted and they had little pastries stuffed with spinach along with sandwiches. I’d gave Angelina’s cater anytime.

I’ve never done a restaurant review before, but I just HAD to for AK! This was our first visit- a gluten free girl’s dream! We were impressed by EVERYTHING! Homey atmosphere with beautiful art, friendly and helpful staff, delicious homemade foods using local, healthy ingredients that are very reasonably priced! I felt like family when we left! I had the Falafel Sandwich which was the best falafel, GF Tabouhli and GF pita bread I’ve ever had! You can tell Angelina’s Kitchen puts their heart & soul into everything they offer! You cannot go wrong; there’s something for everyone!

  3. Joe Reed says:

    Always great!

We’ve never had anything that was less than spectacular, and I bring friends to eat there weekly if I can make it. But I wanted to put in an extra plug for catering…Angelina and John put together an amazing amount of dazzling food last year for my wife’s Second-Annual 39th Birthday party, and no one left un-stuffed or unhappy! It was extremely reasonable, and I had to stop more than one fight over the last piece of something.

Friendly, fun, fantastic…thanks and see you again soon!

Today, my first trip to Angelina’s Kitchen, will not be my last. It was incredible! Lunch was so good that I went back and ordered dinner to bring home to my family. I will have to bring everyone with me some time. Wish you were open on weekends, and wish you were closer to Cary, but you are worth the drive! Thanks for the awesome hospitality and the wonderful cuisine. Looking forward to my next trip to Pittsboro.

  5. Tracy Lynn says:

MAN OH MAN do I miss my weekly falafel sandwich and beef chile soup!
Angelina and John deserve so much credit in this community…we gotta EAT EAT EAT up the goods, people! You will not regret a meal and excellent service. Don’t delay…

We finally had the Green Chili Chicken Enchiladas last night for Cinco de Mayo and they were GREAT! Perfectly seasoned and just enough with a side salad. We brought 2 beers with us and baklava for dessert made it a perfect evening, thanks for being there…………………

  7. Katie says:

Angelina and John always have the best food! If you have not tried them yet, you are missing out!

We had dinner last night and it was tasty! Prices are very reasonable, the atmosphere is laid back and the staff are very friendly. We had the Cheesy Bake, a falafel pita and some Greek soup and we left full and happy! Thanks, we will return and we’ve been spreading the word…………

My family and I feel truly lucky that Angelina and family chose Pittsboro as your home!! Your magical kitchen offers such a wonderful selection, and the welcoming spirit there is renewing. Whether it’s ordering healthy takeout for an all-night kiln firing in Siler City, treating out-of-town visitors to fantastic food that supports our local farmers, or just walking down the block from my office to grab a bite, we always find ourselves treated to a wonderful experience!! I so look forward to your expansion and having more space to soak up the blessings you all have for us all.

  13. Susan O says:

Lunch was wonderful! We all loved our choices and it was heartwarming to watch my skinny baby girl chewing on a beautifully roasted chicken leg. We’ll make the drive again soon and I’ve told all my friends.

  16. Ted Smith says:

Wow , sounds like a great time. Wish I was there. Yummy!!!

  17. Noel says:

Wow!!! This is the BEST Falafel I’ve ever had! For me, it’s usually only good with the sauce. Yours are delicious on their own! I’m coming back soon!

  18. Sara Kane says:

Your restaurant is a treasure! Where else can we find home cooking with local, healthy ingredients – many with authentic Greek cuisine? The daily specials are special indeed with seasonal produce brought in by local farmers, so fresh it was often picked that morning! How valuable is that? I can’t imagine how much work goes into creating all the dishes using constantly varying ingredients – the complete opposite of a corporate chain operation. John’s chile creations and Allen’s soups are great. Other words I associate with this establishment are enthusiasm, creativity and integrity. And the welcome we receive from Angelina, John, Josie and all adds Vitamin L (Love), which makes the food that much more nutritious, truly.

  19. uncle chuck says:

PS: This is the best restaurant website I’ve ever seen.

  20. Angelina: Diane Daniel here, writer of Farm Fresh North Carolina. You make THE BEST moussaka I’ve had since Greece. When I spent a month on Crete (southern side; in the middle) I went to the same place every day for their amazing moussaka. I’ve forever tried to recapture that taste. Yesterday, I did, thanks to you. Efharisto! (looks silly in english)Your baklava is pretty amazing too!

  21. Mike says:

I love ANGELINA’S KITCHEN! And I’m not the only one!!!

  22. Frank Slate Brooks says:

Can’t wait to try your skordalia! I’ve been to Greece 3 times & can’t wait to go back!

  23. Clay Green says:

Came across your website on another local site and decided to stop in. What a surprise to find someone who not only has heard of Chania, but is actually from there!! After spending a year in Crete and falling in love with the food, my search for comparable fare in the States has been less than successful. Who would guess the search would end in Pittsboro? Can’t wait to sample the pastichio.

  24. Ramona Kadrich says:

It is such a joy to have you, your family and Your wonderful restaurant in our town!
The food is always healthy, fresh and delicious. Of course the yogurt is divine. Having owned two yogurt shops I feel well qualified to judge your product. Never did any of my 18 daily flavors come close to your natural product. You are able to achieve a delicate flavor that I could never have with the corporate yogurt I sold.
Thanks for your dedication to our local farmers.

  25. Lesley says:

What a stellar list of local farmers you’ve got here. With the fruits of their labor and your and John’s talent it’s no wonder that everything you make tastes so incredibly delicious! Go Angelina, go!

  26. Asia says:

The chile beef & veggie stew was fantastic!

  27. RFL & KL says:

We have really enjoyed your wonderful hospitality and the delicious gyro sandwich, falafel sandwich, greek salad, spanakopita, and baklavas today! Yes, we ate it all…
And we will certainly be back – regularly!
