Established a network of researchers throughout Tamil Nadu for conservation of wetlands; identified around 60 wetlands in the State for inclusion in the National Priority List; project supported by MoEF/Government of India and UNDP
Impact of Pesticides in Valparai
2002
Project supported by International Conservation Union; developed simple tools using frogs as indicators and provided the same to UPASI and other planters in Valparai for monitoring the health of the ecosystem
Pallikarnai Marsh biodiversity assessment
