An exciting opportunity has arisen within the TFG Design Centre
of the Foschini Group for a Fabric & Trims Buyer
We are looking for a responsible individual, who enjoys working
in a team environment and who is able to multi task and who has
strong organisational skills
We are looking for someone who:
- Has extensive fabric knowledge and experience
- has a creative flair and passion for fashion
- excellent people skills
- Is a team player
- Is highly organised and works well under pressure
- has a high attention to detail
- has excellent analytical and interpretive abilities
- has strong merchant ability with a commercial eye
- has excellent inter-personal and communication skills
- is a confident, assertive negotiator
- is a motivated team player
- understanding of manufacturing process in relation to fabric
will be advantageous
- is computer literate (MSWord and MSExcel)
- has knowledge of fabric and garment construction, end use,
printing etc.
