Is the BBC Radio 4 afternoon schedule changing?
Yes, it has been confirmed that The World at One will be increased by 15 minutes from Monday 7 November 2011. This will allow the team more space to explore and explain the busy domestic and international news agenda.
Other autumn changes in addition to the reshaping of the afternoon schedule include a new comedy strand and the introduction of a new science programme, The Life Scientific.
