- I'm so glad he was brought down. I have a bigger boat than he has now! LOL! He's not as famous as Madoff, because he scammed Hedge funds--not individuals. However, NO ONE likes thieves! He's a cheater. He didn't EARN his riches!

- There were people like Marc Dreier before him and will be plenty of them after him. Humanity is so diverse! Level of conscience comes at different level and different times. Sometimes it takes a dramatic turn of event for someone like him to find that in his heart. I do give him credit to be on 60 minutes and admit that he was a crook which indeed he is! Just can't imagine the extend he carried it out. I truly feel sorry for all the people who were enveloped by the whirlpool. Life can be equally beautiful without all the expansive toys and possessions if we all realize how limited and finite we are as human beings. Conscience is something we have to live with, without it we can't be truly happy on the inside.

- What a piece of S--T! He's upset because he "lost everything" How can he lose something or anything that was paid for by money he stole? What about the millions he'll never pay back to those people who lost thier investments? Prepare his family? For what? He has a mother who was paying $70,000 a month to "Private Jailers" so he can still live in his Penthouse. When a "Rich" person claime they are broke, it means they only have a few Million left in thier account. Did you catch the part about a plea bargain? that means he turned over enough money to be able to buy himself 20 years, instead of life. It means his family was able to keep what ever property he bought for them in thier name. That means he will serve about 7 years. That means $70,000 a month + an 80 year old mother = a hell of an inheritance when she crokes! what a piece of S--t!

- I completely respect Marc Dreier, not because of what he did, but because he has been openly honest about his wrong doing, feelings, and expression of regret. And many can say it's because he got caught, but how many fraudsters have actually expressed regret to the level that Marc Dreier has? None! Nowadays, it seems no one believes in second chances until it's their own a** on the line, then they want the world to give them a second chance.

- I watched this segment with great interest...unbelievably, somehow, I can understand how this man started out with a relatively small amount of guilt, and then it just snowballed so fast, he couldn't bail himself out, and stole from Peter to pay Paul. I feel his punishment fits the crime. Hopefully, while in prison, his family will not desert him. After all, everyone needs family and I am sorry that now he is friendless...not a good feeling, to be all alone.
