Keyboard Access Information - Using Access Keys

We have provided a series of keyboard shortcuts intended to help users who have difficulty in using pointing devices such as a mouse. The following information summarises each of the keyboard shortcut commands available to you.

Depending on your browser type or operating system, use one of the following:

  1. For Microsoft Windows based systems, in general, hold down the Alt key and press the relevant access key:
    • If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 4, then hold down the Alt key and press the relevant number/letter.
    • If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer version 5 or 6, then hold down the Alt key, press the relevant number/letter and then hit Carriage Return.
    • If you are using Mozilla Firefox 1, or Netscape version 6 or later, then hold down the Alt key and press the relevant number/letter.
    • If you are using Mozilla Firefox 2, then hold down the Alt and Shift keys and press the relevant number/letter.
  2. For Macintosh based systems, hold down the Ctrl key and press the relevant access key.
