Jibril on confusion over Colonel Gaddafi's death

Help

Libya's National Transitional Council has told the BBC that the body of ex-leader Col Muammar Gaddafi is to be handed over to the family and that a post mortem has already been carried out.

His burial had been delayed, with officials divided about what to do with the body.

The UN and Col Gaddafi's family have called for an investigation.

Mahmoud Jibril, the country's acting prime minister, said everything was being done to establish the circumstances of his death.
