That's what it's all about at Meetup. Our Dev Team works on product that makes a difference to our members in helping them build local community. They work in project teams known as "Hack Teams" which function like start-ups within a start-up, being solely responsible for building, launching, and iterating aggressively. We ascribe to an agile development approach and so usability testing is done in our offices nearly every day and Hack Teams are launching continuously.

And what if you're not on the Dev Team? We still expect everyone to contribute and champion their ideas that bring us closer to our mission of a Meetup Everywhere About Most Everything.

Speaking of expectations, to make sure we have the right people on board, we hold everyone to the following standards. They are evaluated during our semi-annual performance reviews and when we interview, we ask ourselves if the candidate possesses all these qualities and abilities.
