      • The Chance's can't keep any food in the house while it is tented for termites, so they are eating everything in the fridge.
      • When Hope hit someone at preschool, Burt knew it was starting...she is going to be like her serial killing mother.
      • When Maw Maw finished eating everything in the fridge, Burt noticed the fruit shaped magnets were missing. To see if Maw Maw ate them, he threw his metal fork towards her stomach and it stuck.
      • Burt is going to store all the baby stuff in the storage pod, and he has an extra 5 minutes he can spend with Virginia in there. What takes Burt 5 minutes usually takes her 10, so she passed.
      • Maw Maw hangs out and watches television on the front lawn while the house is fumigated.
      • Since they can't get in the house to use the bathroom, Burt made one outside.
      • The family tries to stop arguing and yelling around Hope. They don't want her to pick up any violent tendencies since she may be a killer already.

      • When Burt runs out of gas, he and Virginia have to get out and push the car. They go through a list of reasons why it is the other person's fault.
      • When they finally get the car to a gas station, Burt only has $1.13 for gas. He also wants half a Slim Jim. Virginia tells him to keep an eye on the creepy guy with the RV.
      • When the creepy guy keeps staring at Jimmy, Burt goes over to talk to him about it. When Virginia comes out of the gas station, she finds out that the creepy guy pulled a gun on Burt and kidnapped him.
      • When Burt finds out that Virginia knocked out Jack, he freaks out. It turns out that Burt wasn't actually kidnapped.
      • It turns out that Jack, the creepy guy, wasn't staring at Jimmy, he was checking out Burt's car. Burt thinks it's awesome that this guy has no responsibilities and just travels around in his RV. When Burt is invited to join him, he does.
      • When Jack comes to, he finds Burt and Virginia to tell them that he feels horrible about what he did to their family.
      • As Jack is about the tell everyone what he did for Maw Maw, she knocks him out with a lamp.

      • When Burt realizes his new rich client is Sabrina's dad, things get uncomfortable and weird in the Chance home. She tries to explain why she cut herself off from her family, but they think it's crazy.
      • When Sabrina brings the Chance family to meet her dad, Virginia and Burt discover his throne in the guest bathroom.
      • Sabrina's dad explains that his toilet is from Japan and cost him $2,000. It even has a jasmine scented air freshener built in. Burt and Virginia's cars aren't even that expensive or impressive.
      • Burt and Virginia teach Hope that rich people don't know the word "no," so she shouldn't say it to them. Even though Hope can't respond, they insist that she understands.
      • Sabrina is angry that her sister allowed their father to throw her a huge party, but Jimmy can't believe how amazing everything is.
      • When Sabrina's sister said that her daughter, Madison, was in the family room watching "Yo Gabba Gabba" Jimmy didn't think that the real characters were actually there.
      • After Virginia developed a taste for the good life, Burt takes his toilet money to the market and buys a lobster.

      • When Jimmy watches a home video of himself as a thirteen-year-old, he discovers that he was a musical prodigy with a promising career as a singer and pianist.
      • When Jimmy was 13, Maw Maw and Mr. Jingles taught him how to play the piano. She felt it was his only chance in life since he wasn't smart enough for college.
      • While watching Jimmy play, Virginia realized that she gave birth to a musical genius.
      • Jimmy's talent caused all the local teenage girls to come down with a case of "Jimmy Fever."
      • Virginia loved showing off Jimmy wherever they went, even prompting him to sing for strangers while playing mini-golf. A group of teens boys threw a golf club at Jimmy, knocking him out and giving him amnesia. He can't remember how to play the piano or sing.
      • When Jimmy shows Sabrina a video of his piano recital, it has the same effect on her as it did the teenage girls who attended his recital. Jimmy became determined to get that talent back.
      • As Jimmy's talent progressed, Burt became jealous. It was Burt's idea to go mini-golfing, so he could beat Jimmy at something. Burt was playing his worst game ever and as he stormed out, he threw his putter. It was his putter that hit Jimmy's head.
