“I’m delighted to be a part of Peace Out Loud – I’ve been supporting Peace Direct for the past three years so please join me by taking part in Peace Out Loud & lend your voice to support incredible individuals on the front line of conflict this Christmas!” – Dame Emma Kirkby

It’s that time of year again and as we get ready for Christmas, we’re calling for choirs across London to lend their voices and sign up for Peace Out Loud.

Peace Out Loud is our annual Christmas singing campaign to support local peacebuilders in conflict zones across the world. Last Christmas choirs sang across London for us, raising much-needed funds to help us continue our work in some of the most dangerous places in the world. It was great fun and a great success and this year we want to raise even more!

Peace Direct has been allocated four prime locations on London’s underground on Saturday 3 December 2011. The stations we are allowed to sing in are Knightsbridge, Bond Street, Piccadilly and South Kensington.

So if you can spare an hour and fancy singing in one of these locations, please get in touch. And you don’t have to be part of a choir to take part – if you can get 8 friends together to do a round of carols, you’d be very welcome. To book a slot and be part of Peace Out Loud this Christmas, please contact Samantha on 0207 549 0285 or email today.
