Smaller desktops are not uncommon in the budget segment for PCs found for under $500. Their limited space generally also means less expensive materials and features. This isn't a bad thing for those looking at a basic computer system and can be beneficial for someone looking at a way to add a PC to a home theater setup at a relatively low cost. Does Systemax offer a comparable system to a standard desktop for under $500? Find out in my review of the Systemax Venture SBI-M desktop.

At first glance, one might not think that the Lenovo Essential H420 is a new system. There have been some slight changes in the overall exterior design but its the specifications that will probably throw people off. So, is this a worthy desktop for those on a tighter budget or is it not as new as one might think? Find out in my review of the Lenovo Essential H420 desktop.
