The road to Wembley - Day One
This weekend our glitter ball is set to shine over the biggest dance floor in Strictly history as our celebrities strut their stuff in front of 6,000 fans across the hallowed ground of Wembley Arena.
In a series of daily updates, Nikki Dean caught up with the crew as they made preparations for this one-off Strictly spectacular...

Earlier this morning I wanted to post a comment on the Team Dobbin site, only to find that it seemed to have disappeared from the official website. Team Nanton, eliminated from the competition several weeks ago, remained available for comment.
However I found a way into Team Dobbin by clicking on to a previous comment of mine on another blog. Which displayed all my previous posts. I then clicked on to a post made to Team Dobbin and found my way back on to their site.
I posted my comment and within minutes, abracadabra, the Beeb had resurrected Team Dobbin back on to the website. As if by magic.
Come on BBC. Play the game fairly. We all want to give our support to those we feel deserve it.
Chelsee and Pasha(have lost track of what exactly is their official team name) are out in front with 1236 posts to date. Well good for them. But it's not the first time I've heard people complain that the team blogs have been unavailable. It's just that this morning I was looking for Anita and Robin and they weren't there.
Now I'm looking for Alex and Jordan! Can't find them! Strangely enough, Anton and Nancy are still there!
How fair is all this? Do I have to go through the whole rigmarole again or will the Beeb get their act together and treat those of us who pay an extortionate licence fee with at least a modicum of respect.
Will post similar comments in future until this matter is resolved.

Every time someone makes a comment on a blog it goes to the top of the list so it's not the BBC who remove blogs it's us who keep them in view... if you see what I mean.

And now, am I missing something with all this Wembley stuff? What is special about dancing at Wembley, well known for it's ...dancing? To me it is just a big empty arena with no atmosphere, none of the intimacy of the studio and certainly none of the glamour of Brighton. What is the big deal?

It is just that since the team pages have come up other things worthy of a new blog have come up like live shows, result shows and confirmation of the eliminated couple. To add to that we have 2 fresh blogs about the road to wembley and Craigs mid term report. So these are like the newer blogs and for every comment made on a particular blog (as the most recent to have a comment on it) that blog appears at the top of the options at the bottom of the screen which is why Team Dobbins page would have come straight to the top and that would also suggest that there hadn't been so many comments for Alex & James recently.
If you have that problem again you will notice the archives section at the bottom of the screen. Go in to that section and click on the month relevant to the actual blog. So you can narrow your options down and in that month you will find different blogs for that month. So the blogs aren't being destroyed it is just that new blogs are coming up and other blogs have had comments added more recently than those that aren't displayed in the topical posts on this blog section. I hope that has helped you

It is clearly a concern for them as their training rooms are nowhere near the same scale as Wembley so wouldn't it be fairer on all the couples if (for this week) they either had bigger training rooms or they had a few days practising their routines in the actual auditorium so they could get the sense of the scale and how they can adjust their routines?

I (and probably many other fans!) would love to see Kylie perform on the show in this series. She sings a beautiful duet with HURTS who wrote a beautiful song called 'Devotion.' HURTS who are Adam Anderson and Theo Hutchcraft are a pop class act and have just completed a successful tour around UK/Europe/Far East. Kylie appeared with them to sing this at their final show this month in Brixton. This song would work so well with dance especially the acoustic version. I would vote Brendan Cole to take the lead as he is the best when it comes to conveying emotion to a TV audience. What a wonderful show it would be!! What could be better - the princess of pop and the mesmerising voice that is Mr Theo Hutchcraft! (looking forward to seeing Jesse J & James M at Wembley!)

it is the first time in the 9 series of SCD that it is going out somewhere beside Blackpool with an audience of 6,000. The atmosphere should be wicked with 6,000 people. Well if you want somewhere with atmosphere come to the o2 Dublin.

Thanks for taking the time to come to my rescue. The archives section does indeed reveal the blogs for the particular month/year selected but not the individual team blogs. Had already tried that.
However otjocs has me back on track, so up and running again.
Seriously though, thanks guys for explaining the intricacies of this convoluted BBC website. Nice to know someone out there cares. More than Aunty does.
