AIPCE is a loose network of independent content regulators for both press and broadcast media. Its annual conferences provide a forum for Media and Press Council representatives to discuss topical issues, to exchange ideas and to offer and receive advice. There is no formal membership and no central secretariat. For more about Press Councils see the What is a Press Council? section.
Enquiries about the Alliance may best be directed to the host organisation of the next conference. In 2011, the AIPCE annual meeting will be held in Russia and be hosted by the Public Chamber for Press Complaints (see the Contacts section for more details)
