Produced and directed by Kesang Tseten, the documentary Saving Dolma reflects on the lives of female migrant domestic workers, one of the most vulnerable groups of workers, and the issues they face in the Middle East.

About This Initiative
The International Migration Initiative seeks to address the inequality, exclusion, and discrimination faced by migrants during their journey and in their destination countries, as well as to create greater accountability and transparency in the way states manage the movement of people across their borders.

Governance & Policymaking
The initiative seeks to build the capacity of stakeholders to engage in design, implementation, and monitoring of migration policies. Work includes ensuring migrants’ voices in policymaking and promoting greater accountability and transparency.

Equality & Justice
The initiative works to protect the human rights of all migrants. Areas include access to justice, advocating for a path to naturalization and citizenship, and improving the conditions of migrant workers.

Cross-Issue Linkages
The initiative creates linkages with other major social issues and movements, thereby developing common agendas and solutions that address inequality, exclusion, and discrimination.
