Diagnosis:
|
Shell light reddish brown with light bluish opaque surface layer, translucent and weakly shiny, prominently and irregularly striated, cervix coarsely ribbed, 10-13 whorls with whitish suture, cervix with weak basal keel, aperture detached, inside yellowish brown, margin fragile and weakly reflected, parietalis strong and distant from spiralis, columellaris prominent, nearly horizontal, principalis well developed, frontal upper palatalis and basalis deeper inside, no lunula, subcolumellaris not visible in a perpendicular view. Clausilium S-shaped, two-lobed, outer lobe broader and rounded.

Biology:

Prefers humid and shady rocks, also at steep outcrops, feeds on few species of lichens and fungus with local distribution.

Threatened:
|
Endemic species, rare, restricted to Trigradski Karst area, report for Krichim village (Nordsieck 1973) incorrect (Irikov & Mollov 2006: 779).
