2011 All-Star Classic

 

1.   Titles: Halo Reach and Black Ops

2.   Format: East Team vs. West/International Team.

3.   Each Team will be made up of eight Players.

4.   Only Players with Automatic Bracket Qualification for the Halo Reach or Black Ops Providence Championship Bracket are eligible for participation.

5.   Each Game won will count as one Point for the Title’s East or West/International Team.

6.   After seven Games, each Title will have their own East or West/International Team winner.

 

Halo Reach Format

1.   The East Team will play as the blue team and the West Team will play as the red team.  The winner of a Coin Toss, called by the West Coach, will be named the higher seeded Team.  The higher seeded Team must choose to Host three or four Games.  The Team set to Host three Games must choose the Games that they want to Host first.  The Team set to Host four Games must Host the Games that weren’t chosen.

2.   At least two East Players and two West/International Players will be selected as Starters, based on Regular Season MVPs and 2011 Pro Circuit Rank Points.  More than two Players may be selected as Starters if there is a 2011 Pro Circuit Rank Points tie.  If a Team has at least two MVPs, no Players will be selected as Starters using 2011 Pro Circuit Rank Points.

3.   Fan Voting will determine the remaining Players on each Team.  Fan Voting will begin at 5 PM ET on Thursday, November 3rd and end at 2 PM ET on Tuesday, November 8th.  Each Team’s remaining Starters will be determined by the Players who receive the most votes.

4.   Seven 4v4 Games will be played.

5.   All Starters will play in four Games and all other Players will play in three Games.

6.   All Game Rosters must be unique. 

7.   Game Rosters may not contain more than two Players from the same National Championship Team.

8.   All-Star Coaches will be selected by MLG.  Team Coaches will be responsible for setting Game Rosters and Seating Charts.

Game 2 – Capture the Flag – Countdown                  

Game 3 – Team Slayer – The Pit                                 

Game 4 – Capture the Flag – Sanctuary                     

Game 5 – Team Slayer – Countdown                         

Game 6 – Capture the Flag – Zealot   

Game 7 – Team Slayer – Sanctuary

Black Ops Format

1.   The winner of a Coin Toss, called by the West Coach, will be named the higher seeded Team.  The higher seeded Team must choose to Host three or four Games.  The Team set to Host three Games must choose the Games that they want to Host first.  The Team set to Host four Games must Host the Games that weren’t chosen.  The Team that doesn’t Host must choose to play as the top or bottom team.  For Round 2 of Domination Games, Teams will switch from the top team to the bottom team and vice versa.
