A round-up of the year's most popular charts
WELCOME to our Daily chart Advent calendar, a collection of the 24 most popular maps, charts, data visualisations and interactive features published on our site this year. You'll find one behind each door, with a new door available to open every day until Christmas, plus an entirely new chart behind door number 25—a Christmas gift from the Daily chart team. Season's greetings from us all at The Economist online.
On this blog we publish a new chart or map every working day, highlight our interactive-data features and provide links to interesting sources of data around the web. The Big Mac index, house-price index and other regular features can be found on our Markets & data page

You mean I get TWO charts for Christmas!!! Woo Hoo I'm SO excited!!!
Anyway....Nice idea on the whole i guess...
much better than the usual calendars with poor quality chocolate
cheers
Are there going to be new charts published concurrently?
If not, what a sly way for the Economist team to excuse themselves from coming up with 25 new charts.
One thing that kept my eyes glued on the Economist on line issues is its Daily Chart. You might say it's greetings of all Seasons.
I look forward every evening to the next day's daily chart.
Thank you for sharing. :)
Yes, we will continue to publish new charts every working day, until the Christmas issue appears. So this isn't a cop out by the Daily chart team!
These are charts from earlier in the year?
Woo hoo! I've been regifted!
cool
I love this chart. It is going to give me great surprising this month!
So impressed by the Economist online version! especially the interactive chart. Love it! You have done a great job!
Excellent - two of my favourite things, christmas and infographics!

Wait for Brian Cox...
I need the big box to be on the 24th. Remove box 25.
New Chart behind door 25? I can't wait!
I've been looking for an excuse to get hook on the Econ. for years, and now have it. But... only so far, universal coverage seems scattershot. Some contain info from the far east, others not, one focused solely on India w/info on China.
What? The chocolate in the advent calendar (a good one from Osnabruek) was always the best!
