Maniac Cop 2

Maniac Cop 2 is a 1990 crime horror film directed by William Lustig. In the film, fellow police officers believe that bad cop, Matt Cordell (Robert Z'Dar), has drowned and his body simply washed away. However, the maniac cop is back from the grave and seeking revenge on those who stopped him from getting what he wanted. His first targets are police officers, Jack Forrest (Bruce Campbell) and Teresa Mallory (Laurene Landon) who got in his way before his death. When events begin to unfold no one believes a maniac cop back from the dead could be behind the crimes except Detective Sean McKinney (Robert Davi). Eventually, McKinney convinces police psychologist, Susan Riley (Claudia Christian), that it is possible and they work together to capture the wayward cop. Unfortunately, catching Cordell is made more difficult because he has acquired a partner, Turkell (Leo Rossi), a psychotic serial killer. Can Riley and McKinney capture the maniac cop before more lives are lost?
