Sabotage is a mystery directed by Alfred Hitchcock and is an adaptation of Joseph Conrad's novel, The Secret Agent. In the film, Karl Verloc (Oscar Homolka) is the owner of a local movie theater, but is also involved with a dangerous gang. His gang is plotting to make a terrorist attack on downtown London. Scotland Yard has been watching Karl and they think he is planning something bad. They send in Detective Sergeant Ted Spencer (John Loder), as an undercover agent to investigate Karl and find out what he is up to. Although contacted by Scotland Yard about her husband, Karl's wife (Sylvia Sydeny) refuses to believe that her husband would do anything like that. Her faith in Karl slides considerably when he asks her little brother, Stevie (Desmond Tester) to deliver a package for him. Can she ever forgive Karl for the danger he put her little brother in and can Scotland Yard stop him before he goes through with his plan?
