Valley of the Zombies starts with Dr. Rufus Maynard, (Charles Trowbridge), receiving a visit from mental patient Ormand Murks (Ian Keith), after 10 pints of blood mysteriously disappear from his lab. These not-so-coincidental events lead Dr. Maynard to the discovery of an empty graveyard, and the truth slowly starts to trickle out. Strange as it is to believe, zombies need human blood to survive. The fantastical discovery goes against the doctor's scientific beliefs, and leads to a battle between the good of science and the pure evil of the undead zombies. Along for the ride in this sci-fi movie are the likable characters of Dr. Terrance 'Terry' Evans (Robert Livingston), and his nurse Susan Drake (Lorna Gray). While the special effects are clearly dated, this classic horror film will have you on the edge of your seats following the doctor's antics as he tries to defeat the zombies and save humanity from disaster.
