Arsenal Disabled Supporters Association

Who are we and who do we represent?

ADSA (ARSENAL DISABLED SUPPORTERS ASSOCIATION) was set up at the end of 2006/2007 season to represent, and give the clubs disabled supporters a voice. Our aim is to try and deal with any problems or complaints you may have and enhance your match day experience.

As some of you may be aware the three people that initiated the association have been working on the committee of ADSA attending many meetings with Arsenal and of course Alun Francis the Disabled liaison officer. Many items have been resolved with the cooperation of Arsenal and greatly benefiting our disabled supporters.

One major item was the installation of higher platforms on the upper tier of the Emirates Stadium; this has tremendously enhanced the view for our fans and has resulted in a totally unobstructed view for our wheelchair supporters. Other things include radar locks installed to all the disabled toilets. Also in addition, recreational pursuits such as the disabled social functions, and the training ground visits were initiated by the association and adopted by Arsenal.

Since the association was formed to date, we have over one hundred members, and we would like many more, we would like more people to become involved including all the different types of disabled fans that attend our matches and support this great club, we also welcome the able bodied ones as well, all are welcome to join, and with a one off subscription of ten pounds it is good value as well.

In order for this association to thrive and evolve we need people to show an interest, and get involved including attending annual general meetings, voting for committee members who will carry on representing our disabled supporters for many years to come.

We hope you will join us as we are the only disabled supporters association at the club and it will be good to see some new faces in our ranks. We look forward to you joining.

One last item is that recently the association has joined NADS (National Association of Disabled Supporters) to assist us in the future if necessary.
