The simple line "One Life, With Each Other Sisters, Brothers" was deemed to be the best lyric in the poll conducted by VH1.

In second place is The Smiths� �How Soon Is Now� with the refrain "So You Go, And You Stand On Your Own, And You Leave On Your Own, And You Go Home, And You Cry, And You Want To Die."

Nirvana�s �Smells Like Teen Spirit� is third while interestingly Radiohead�s song of self-deprecation �Creep� came in at number nine.

Controversial entries include Robbie Williams� �Angels�, Coldplay�s �Yellow� and Kaiser Chiefs �I Predict A Riot.�
