Note: If you are using WFBS 6.0 SP2 and above, you need to disable Self-client Protection or unload the Security Agent before doing the steps below. For the instructions, refer to the solutions below:

•   How to unload the CSA of WFBS
•   How to disable CSA self-protection in WFBS

1. Go to Start > Run, then type "Regedit".
Important: Always create a backup before modifying the registry. Incorrect registry changes may cause serious issues. Should this occur, restore it by referring to the "Restoring the Registry" Help topic in Regedit.exe or the "Restoring a Registry Key" Help topic in Regedt32.exe.
2. Go to the corresponding registry hive:

        WFBS 5.0, 5.1, 6.0:

        WFBS 7.0:

3. On the right pane, look for "Allow Uninstall" and set its value to "1".
4. Close the registry editor.

5. Uninstall the client via Start > Settings > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

If the issue persists, refer to this solution: Manually uninstalling the CSA of WFBS 5.x and 6.0
