The Underworld Harem specifically belonged to the Kam (Shaman) when to visit it via Dream and Trance within which is housed hundreds, if not thousands of Spirit Women, Concubines, their Children, and innumerable Female Servants. The environment of the Underworld Harem is similar to the one that has been romanticized throughout the history of its Oriental physical counterpart. Many luxuries were given to the Spirit Women of the Harem by the Kam whom acted as a Sultan; such ritual gifts included Incense, Flowers, Food-Offerings or even that of Silks, Robes, and Cloths of Gold to be laid upon an Altar representing the Harem. The concept of the Kam’s Harem is in actuality considered to be that of a type of Psychic-Battery; for the Spirit Women represent the Kam’s power, and hence symbolised by a Ritual Altar, upon which is a placed a Icon or Image of the Harem or most often than not that of symbol painted upon the Kam’s Drum, which hung as a Spirit repository of Harem in their modest homes.

The physical existence of the legendary Turkish Harem dates farther back than the fourteenth century and life within it was certainly one of beauty, congestion, and education (Goodwin 121).  A large number of Women would inhabit the Harem at one time, so many in fact, that there was no place to sit down, and some would have had to live standing up. When they graduated they went on to learn to Read and Write Arcane Runes and how to tell Stories of Far-Sight Divination.

This skill of telling stories was considered an important attribute of a Female Jinn, but more so within the Harem of the Dream. In regards to the Temporal Harem It was said that every night one of the One Thousand and One Nights was read (Goodwin 127-29). Ironically, the tale of the Thousand Nights is about a Harem Girl telling one tale a night in order to stay alive, and in the end becomes the Queen of the Harem Girls. Because the Harem Girls lived in secluded areas of the palace, it was difficult to catch a glimpse of them; Artists of the West used tales such as the Arabian Nights, to create incredible lavish paintings and exotic illustrations of what they perceived to be the Turkish Harem. In the Nineteenth century, European Artists were all over the Ottoman Empire (196). These illustrations they painted were always elaborate and full of vivid colour, depicting the Harem Women as “mysteriously veiled…riding in ox-drawn Arabas or chattering by the Sweet Waters of Asia,” Arabas being carriages reserved for the Sultan and his Women (196). Other paintings accurately depicted the Harem Women as nude bathing, washing silverware, and caring for their young.

Through the slow “seeding of the Western culture” into Turkey and the Ottoman Empire, by the end of the Nineteenth century, the Harem slowly began to change. European Artists and Authors proved to be too great an influence on the East replacing the actual Harem with elaborate paintings and romantic stories. The Turkish Harem was run by its own Pyramidal Hierarchy of Women. However, if the Women were disobedient they were beaten or punished by being stripped of all their savings and left without hope of marriage or any other future. The Women of the Turkish Harem may have been at the mercy of the Sultan, who had them captured always against their will, but it was the Sultan’s Mother, the Valide, who held the title of Queen and ruler over each Woman.

The Spirit Harem of the Kam has a similar attribution of structure to that of the Turkish Harem for if the Spirit Girls are disobedient their ‘Signs’ of Evocation are beaten to be whipped, stripped, burnt or cast away and thence at the mercy of the Kam as Sultan. The Spirit Women are often captured against their will to be ensnared by Spell formulae Songs from out of those hidden away power places one to find within wild nature of forest, lake, spring or mountain and other power spots varied of haunted hue to be thereby tamed. Sometimes such Spirit Girls are caught when the Kam learns of their true names via Visions and Dreams or to collect those lost Girls whom are of a discarnate state that wander graveyards to be verily trapped within magically prepared gourds or bottles that are set in place amidst crumbling tombs. The Kam also had a primary Feminine Spirit, which is perceived to be the ‘First-Mother’ that one can attribute the title of Queen to, whom rules over all the other Female Spirits and she to reside at the top of the Pyramid as the 'Holy-Guardian-Angel' (HGA) of World-Soul.

ODALISQUE SLAVE CHAIN BOUND TO HER MASTERS WANTON DESIRES:

In regards to the Temporal Harem of physical structure one to find at the base of the Pyramid lay the Eunuchs and Women Servants/Slaves Odalisques. The Odalisques were kept tethered to a strict code of silence and held few rights if any. They were to clean and care for the other Women and at times acted as serving Maids to the Valide. The Eunuchs, on the other hand, were the only males allowed in the Harem and were a part of a Guild system; they were usually members of the larger family of the Sultan. There were three types of Eunuchs: full Eunuch, whose reproductive organs were cut early during childhood; half Eunuch, who lost his testicles in his youth; and Eunuch, whose testicles atrophied when he was a child. The full Eunuchs were the most reliable: they did not have beards and their larynx was of a small size resulting in child-like voices. These males were trusted to not be a sexual threat to the women within the Harem and thus were appointed by the Sultan to act as the Women’s guards (Goodwin 129-33).  The next level consisted of the Cariye, Pupils and Novices in training. One of the functions of the Harem was to act as a school for these Women. The Cariye would have lessons in “Music, Singing, Dancing, and the Arts of Poetry and Love; also they would be taught Languages, and Religion.”  These Girls were also taught to read and write. A few graduated, while the rest married officers. The following level consisted of those privileged graduates of the Harem school (131).

The Harem of the Kam also has Female Servants at its base as well as to include Guards, which one could equate with Eunuchs, although such are perceived as being asexual neither, male nor female to be often depicted in Animal or semi-human monstrous form!

The next level of Jinn Women within the social structure of the Spirit Harem included those who had actually been seen by the Kam as Sultan and may even have had contact with him via Lucid Dreams. These Spirit Women were Intelligent, Amusing, and Skilled at providing physical pleasure at the elemental level, although they were still perceived as Virgins under round of Moon. Within the Temporal Harem such Girls chosen by the Sultan were known as Gediks, “Girls in the Sultan’s (Third) Eye” (131). In regards to the Kam as Sultan the Gediks were those on the periphery of his Shamanistic activity doing their work of weaving his desires into Synchronistic flesh.

BIRTHING WISHES INTO FLESH AND OTHER SELVES MADE KNOWN BORN:

The Spirit Girls who slept with the Kam as Sultan were known as Ikbals and made up the next level of Jinn Women known as the “Sultan’s Favourite.” They would get their own rooms with their own Female Slaves and Kitchen Maids and Guards, which were eked out as envisaged elaborate symbols around their activated Spirit Signs drawn out upon parchment or etched into metal to thence be placed within a bottle, a Lamp or within the Kam’s Drum. As soon as these Spirit Women became Mothers, they reached a level of Freedom in which they earned a much more handsome focus compared with the ritualistic offerings of pocket change near interest they had received before. The Kam believed that such Spirit Girls could give birth to Children and if they happened to give birth to Daughters their level would be elevated to that of Hasseki Kadin, “Mother of Daughters,” wherefore they would move into a larger apartment of an ornate Spirit repository of a Bottle for such Daughters symbolically represented a Wish being fulfilled; although these Daughters themselves became additions to the Kam's Harem. If they were to birth a Male, their status would be raised to that of Hasseki Sultan, “Mother of Sons.” Such Sons represented the empowerment of a Magickally Constructed Alternate Persona of the Kam to wear as a guise when to Trance or to Dream. The Mother of the eldest Son whom symbolically represents the Kam’s main Magickal Guise would later move up to be the Valide when the Kam as Sultan died, to also become the Queen of the Harem for such a Son actually represented the Next physical Incarnation of the Kam. It was a technique in order to engineer conscious Reincarnations from one lifetime to another of round wherefore the Valide (Holy Guardian Angel) would oversee the next Incarnation so as to aid the Kam to Remember what has been learnt from a previous existence.

THE FEMININE DOES EVER COMPETE WITH ITS SELF CIRCULAR OF CYCLES SEEKING ITS EGG TO BE SPLIT BY CHOSEN SERPENT:

Although there was the ample opportunity to climb the social Harem structure in regards to its physical expression, trouble was not far behind; this too applied to the otherworldly Harem of the Kam. Trouble usually began when a Spirit Woman was raised to the status of an Ikbal and slept with the Kam as Sultan, because she was now seen as a rival by those Jinn Women of the same rank and “therefore would be involved in the factional politics which were the zest of Harem life”. The goal was to become the Valide and rule over the plethora of other Jinn Women in the Harem. All matters of important business were passed through the Valide’s hands. Women of the Jinn Harem fought for this position and some went so far as to murder the sons of the Hasseki Sultans wherefore the Kam’s guises of Alternate Magickal Personas were disempowered if not erased. If caught, they faced the punishment of having their Signs torn apart and thrown into a river to drown.

Although the pyramid structure of the physical Turkish Harem caused friction between the Women, Order and Rule was most dominant, which also applied to the Spiritual Jinn Harem of the Kam. Each Spirit Woman had the opportunity to be raised to higher status for it was by the act of interacting with the Kam, that they ‘Evolved’, and hence competed with one another to do so. The Kam (Shaman) perceived the Universe as being principally ‘Feminine’ of expression and hence his power was derived from a Feminine Inorganic Intelligence of source, whose Predatory Intention is to seek out Symbiotic Congress with Kam’s wherefore the Feminine source chooses the Kam (Shaman) so as to Evolve through. One could consider the Kam as being a Sultan who is known as an ‘Odqan’, of a 'Fire King' whose Bio-Photon Spirit wives number 144 being that of the 72 Upper-World Ayami Daughters of Bai Ulgan and the 72 Underworld Syvén Daughters of Erlik Khan whom are collectively called Dakinis or if one prefers, Valkyria.
