Welcome to the 2012 Interagency Disability Educational Awareness Showcase (IDEAS)

Join us on Wednesday, January 18, and Thursday, January 19, 2012 at the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington, DC.

IDEAS 2012 - The 2012 Interagency Disability Educational Awareness Showcase (IDEAS) is the federal government’s premier conference on Section 508 compliance and accessible workplace technology for people with disabilities. This year, IDEAS is sponsored by the General Services Administration and hosted by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Target Center. You are invited to learn more about the President’s Executive Order to increase the hiring of people with disabilities; the nuts and bolts of Section 508 compliance in their agencies; reasonable accommodations for new and existing employees; and how to use accessibility as a tool for fostering a flexible, inclusive and productive federal workforce.
