Andrew Foster Scholarship Fund
The NBDA-Andrew Foster Scholarship is for Black Deaf students at
Gallaudet University only, with at least 3.0 GPA. The following
information was found on the Gallaudet University website:
University Programs, Scholarships: These are gift funds that are
donated to the University by a variety of individuals and organizations.
Recipients must be full-time, regular degree-seeking students. Scholarships
are restricted based on donor requirements; however, most are based
on financial need and academic performance. The Financial Aid Office
matches students with scholarship requirements. Awards vary with
donations and donor restrictions. Applicants for scholarships should
complete the scholarship application supplement. Applicants for
financial aid are automatically considered and matched with these
funds, and do not need to apply for individual scholarships. (This
information was taken from the following page: http://financialaid.gallaudet.edu/financialaid/program.htm.)
