Thirty-nine Martyrs from the Army and Law Enforcement Forces Laid to Rest

DAMASCUS, (SANA)- The bodies of 39 martyrs from the army and law enforcement forces on Saturday were escorted to their final resting place from Tishreen Military Hospital and the Police Hospital in Damascus.

Official funeral ceremonies were held for the martyrs, who were targeted while they were on duty in Damascus Countryside and Homs, as they were carried up on shoulders while the music of "The Martyr" and "The Farewell" was played.

The martyrs' families stressed their confidence in the Syrian people's ability to overcome the crisis through adherence to national unity, affirming their belief that the martyrs' blood that was shed while defending the homeland will fortify Syria and make it stronger and more steadfast against the challenges.
