Super Smash Bros Brawl

That's still not everything that Brawl has to offer though. In addition to everything mentioned so far, you also have a limited, but still very functional stage editor, the ability to save and send replays and screenshots to your friends over Nintendo Wifi, a complete encyclopedia of everything and anything related to Nintendo, a soundtrack that features over 30 different famous video game composers, and a wall of 128 different challenges that each grant you some kind of unlockable. Any gamers wondering why it took so long for the next Smash Brothers game need only look at the list of features jam packed into this title and they should have their answer.

Meet Ike. You do NOT want to be on the receiving end of his smash attacks.

So what's wrong with Smash Brothers Brawl? Honestly, the only universal problem that I think everyone would agree with is the lack of a truly robust online mode, complete with stat tracking, voice chat, and a mostly lag free environment. All of the other problems with the game really only affect certain groups. If you're a hardcore pro Melee player, you might not like the slowed down pace, the elimination of some advanced techniques, and the forgiving ledge grabbing system. If the first two games didn't appeal to you, Brawl won't do anything to change your mind.

But if you don't fall into either of those groups, you'll find a lot to love about Brawl. It's one of the most complete video games you'll ever play, and one that you'll be playing for years to come.

One of the most jam-packed video games ever in terms of modes, unlockables, features, characters, levels, etc. You name it, Brawl has it in spades; Better balanced roster; Subspace Emissary, Classic Mode, Events, Home Run Contest, Multi Man Melees, and much improved AI make single player much more enjoyable than it ever was; Awesome new characters and stages; Improved air dodging system brings a new and interesting dimension to the fighting system; You can finally play Smash Brothers online.

While you can play it online, it's a very shoddy online mode.

Final Verdict
What else can I say other than you simply owe it to yourself to buy this game and treat yourself to one of the greatest multiplayer gaming experiences of all time. The only thing that stops me from giving it a perfect score is the not so perfect online mode.
