With the single "Doesn't Mean Anything" already making the rounds, Alicia Keys has announced that she will release her fourth album, The Element Of Freedom, on December 1 via MBK/J Records. For the follow up to As I Am, Keys worked with her longtime production partner Kerry "Krucial" Brothers, as well as Jeff Brasker (Kanye West, Keri Wilson) and more production pairings to be announced soon.

"The music is really strong, and the drums are really aggressive, but my voice is vulnerable and delicate," Keys said about The Element Of Freedom. She also said that album encapsulates her process of "eliminating all of the boundaries and all the limitations, so that you can feel your freedom and express your freedom in every way you possibly can, and that’s what I did with this album."

Keys offered her television debut performance of "Doesn’t Mean Anything" on Regis & Kelly today. The P.R. Brown-directed video for the song will premiere exclusively on PerezHilton.com on October 16, and will be available everywhere on October 17 including MySpace, Yahoo Music, AOL Music, YouTube and MSN Music.
