Marin Academy High School will host the second annual Uncensored Conference for high school students from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The conference seeks to create an open atmosphere where participants may examine and discuss issues of equity and justice within their communities.

Keynote speakers at the conference include poet and activist Cesar Cruz and choreographer Khalil Anthony Peebles, director of Arts-in-Education for Youth Speaks. The conference, subtitled "Conversations We're Not Having," will feature workshops on equity in education, standards of beauty, gender roles and eco-elitism.

The event is free at Marin Academy at 1600 Mission Ave. in San Rafael. Students can register at www.ma.org.
