Not so Angry Birds: Photographer's amazing shots of his adorable daughters

It is not every day that a little girl can transform into an iPhone Angry Bird and launch her sister at sitting pigs.
But for Kristin, eight, and Kayla, five, this is just one of the many magical adventures they've had thanks to their talented photographer father Jason Lee.
The sisters are snapped riding a flying bicycle, playing with the Cookie Monster and even letting their hair down like Rapunzel in Lee's on-line blog which has been viewed by thousands.

Oh dear! Kristin will have some explaining to do after launching her younger sibling Kayla off into the sky
Lee of San Ramon, California, was inspired to start documenting his daughters' childhood when his mother was diagnosed with non-Hodgkins lymphoma in 2006.
Unable to take his daughters to visit - for fear of his mother catching their childhood coughs and colds - he turned to his camera.

Rapunzel, let down your hair! Kayla obviously did not see the stairs, and instead decides to use Kristin's Rapunzel-like locks to get to her sister

Lee previously told MailOnline: 'I wanted to keep my Mum up to date with things that were going on in their lives. I just hoped to cheer her up with my pictures.'
So he started to take more and more creative
photographs of the girls, in increasingly more imaginative poses.
He said: 'I generally come up with an idea first, then set up lighting, then set up my camera. I take anywhere from three to five images, then create a composite of the girls.'

In one ear and out the other, Kayla is clearly not interested in what her older sister has to say
The experienced wedding photographer uses a $2,700 Nikon D700 camera, and 16 pieces of lighting equipment, before editing the frames using Photoshop software, spending up to an hour-and -a half on each shot.
The girls are a 'never-ending source of ideas' when it comes to Lee's creative process, he told the Huffington Post.
He added: 'Most of the ideas come
from the girls. I observe them playing, or sometimes I hear the funny
and outrageous things they say. Their day-to-day life also plays a big
role for my inspiration.'

As for Lee's mother, she was delighted with his project and continues to follow their growth online.
'I just hope that people enjoy the images as much as I enjoy taking them,' Lee told The Post.
'Maybe reading about their antics and stories can bring a smile to someone's face.'

The girls clearly love being in the photographs.
Little Kayla said: 'I think it’s really cool. I like when Daddy takes pictures of us.'
Kristen said she would like to follow in her father’s footsteps, saying: 'It looks like fun taking photos.'
