Clarkson Nets Winner For Tigers

Michael Turner has been named the official Hull City Player of the Year for 2008/09.

The defender collected the award at the Club's Player of the Year Awards Dinner held at the Gemtec Arena on Tuesday night. He was joined on stage by runner-up Ian Ashbee and Geovanni who came third.

Turner also picked up the Players' Player of the Year trophy and CITY Magazine Player of the Year award while Tom Cairney was named Young Player of the Year.

Geovanni's goal against Arsenal was voted Goal of the Season.

Meanwhile, Paul Duffen's award for Outstanding Contribution went to Nick Barmby.
