Pansing Books division is one of the largest independent distributors in Singapore, Malaysia and the region.We are dedicated to bringing our customers the books that readers want in the fastest possible time.
Besides working with numerous local publishers, Pansing represents some of the biggest and most respected brand names in English language publishing from the UK, US and Australia. The products range from interactive novelty products, picture books, coffee-table and trade publications to reference, education and ELT books.
Our distribution centre based in Singapore houses more than 100,000 titles at any one time, and has a total inventory of over a million books. Our retail customers include major book chains such as Kinokuniya, Borders, Times bookstores, Times Newslink, MPH, Popular, Harris and PageOne as well as many independent booksellers, educational suppliers, educational institutions (both private and government), libraries and specialist stores.
What We Do
Our business can be divided into 5 segments:
- Product Management
Our team of experienced product managers and specialists follow the latest trends to come up with the right strategy to promote and place our books in the right retail channels.
- Sales
Our effective sales team ensures that book displays and placements in the bookstores are maximised. Intensive merchandising of both front and backlist is the norm, helped by one of the largest sales forces in the industry.
We also have an educational sales team marketing to schools, universities and other academic institutions.
- Marketing
Our marketing team is in charge of promotional activities and publicity campaigns which place our books in the spotlight where they belong.
From a full-scale branding and promotional programme to a publicity blitz for our latest book or author, the marketing department is fully equipped to handle an entire campaign from start to finish.
- Customer Service
The customer service department ensures that customer satisfaction is met when orders are fulfilled in an efficient and professional manner.
- Warehousing
Pansing's books are housed in a 30,000 square feet fully air-conditioned warehouse.
