The Foothill Transit Authority has issued construction notices for Monrovia during the week of March 26-30 from 7a.m. to 5p.m. Work will affect Duarte Road from Mayflower to Mountain Avenues and railroad crossings. ANNUAL SPRING EGG HUNT & HEALTHY KIDS DAY

FOUNTAIN TO THE FALLS 7MILE RUN/WALK
The City of Monrovia second annual Fountain to the Falls 7mile Run/Walkis set for May 19, 2012 at 7a.m. on Monrovia Day. Registration is available at www.active.com from March 1 - May 17, 2012. The fee to enter the race is $30 per person and includes a t-shirt. Awards for top three finishers in each age category. Race capped at 400. Contact (626)256-8230 for details.

Southern California Edison is offering a chance for residents to file for a reimbursement claim for those who suffered a loss resulting from extended power outages due to the December 2011 windstorm. The City of Monrovia and Monrovia Police Department has been proactive in graffiti removal and awareness, but we need your help. WILDERNESS PRESERVE EIR, RMP PRESENTATION TO CITY COUNCIL
On Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 the Wilderness Preserve Environmental Impact Report and Resource Management Plan and was brought before the City Council. The Final Environmental Impact Report (EIR) is available for review. Click here (final) for the official notice and final documents. UPDATE: NEW 'PASSPORT PLACE' HOURS ANNOUNCED
Monrovia City Hall's Passport Placeis now open for walk-in service Mondays through Thursdays, from 1 to 6 p.m., and Fridays, from 12:30 to 5:30 p.m. The office is also open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to noon by appointment only.
