Buckeye Divers meet on the second Tuesday of each month at Tommy's Pizza, 1350 W. Lane Ave. Columbus, OH 43221.

We have an Executive Meeting on the fourth Tuesday of each month at one of the member's homes.

Nominations

It's that time of year again.  Who wants to be president or vice president?  Nominations will be taken at the November meeting and elections will be held in December.  Will the December Exec Meeting be the President's Party or the Outgoing President's party?  Who will be the keeper of the tickets next year?  The November meeting will feature the drama and intrigue associated annual contest.  As usual, the positions of Treasurer, Dive Master, and Editor are appointed by the duly elected President. See you there!

Dry Diving

Maybe even damp diving.  The Newfoundland trip is fast approaching.  Doug is finding flights and we're all thinking about our dry suits.  (Is it too loose?  Do I need to gain weight this winter?)

We should be thinking about keeping up and developing our dry diving skills this winter.  Make an effort to get some more dives under your weight belt!

Exec Meetings
The October meeting was at George and Teresa's.  The munchies were Italian, a nice celebration for their anniversary.  Thanks to everyone who showed up.

The November meeting is cancelled, enjoy your Thanksgiving!
2011 Dive Calendar
It was a good year for scheduled dives.  Thanks to everyone who participated.  I'm sure there will be a few more ad hoc dives.  Maybe it will be a good winter for ice dives!  Still lots of time to get in some dry suit dives in preparation for Newfoundland.

Meeting called to order at 8:06 by President Dave at Tommy's Pizza.

September 2011 minutes had no corrections.

Dive Master's Report

  • Doug was not at the meeting.
  • Dave asked if, with the Newfoundland trip in July 2012, if we wanted to go to North Carolina on either Memorial Day weekend or Labor Day weekend instead of the traditional 4th of July weekend.
