Politics Alec Baldwin: Sen. Inhofe Is a ‘Whore’ Who Should ‘Retire to a Solar-Powered Gay Bar’

Capital One spokesman Alec Baldwin added his voice to the political discourse this weekend, tweeting that Senator Inhofe is an “oil whore” who should “retire to a solar-powered gay bar.”
The slur is likely a reference to Senator Inhofe’s new book, The Greatest Hoax: How the Global Warming Conspiracy Threatens Your Future, and related promotional events. In the book, Senator Inhofe maintains that only God can change the climate, and it is pure “arrogance” for us to think otherwise.

In a discussion about “climate deniers,” Baldwin added three tweets:
‘Oil Whore Jim Inhofe has betrayed every man and woman who lost their livelihood on the Gulf due to BP’s overwhelming negligence…’
‘Is there a bigger Oil Whore alive than James Inhofe?’
‘…We need to have Inhofe retire to a solar-powered gay bar.’
Critics like Michelle Malkin have noted that in the wake of the Rush Limbaugh controversy, Capital One said that it would no longer air advertisements with Rush Limbaugh (though it is unclear if they ever did so in the first place).
So why, they ask, hasn’t the company dropped Alec Baldwin as its spokesman, when he is using the same language as Mr. Limbaugh?

He was amazingly calm and responded to each question politely but with easily verified facts that refuted the callers and host accusations. …Now the most intelligent on the left resort to anger and name calling…the kind of science the entire hoax is built upon.

Think about it..to be an actor one needs to have a fairly weak identity, hence they are able to take on a character in a movie. Spoken another way, they are an empty vessel of values, identity, security, love, self esteem, hence they must become joiners of movements to fill their empty lives with something of meaning..very similar to the reasons bums join gangs to fill the void of their character with the “family” of the gang.
Baldwin, Cruise, Clooney, Pitt, on and on are, in vain, all seeking an identity they can call their own; so they drift from one emotionally based “gang” to the next. Liberalism is a wonderful gang for them to join, since it is emotionally based and hence is characterized by name calling, etc. in lieu of logical arguments because liberalism has no logical, factual basis to exist. They don’t deserve your time in rage, they simply deserve your pity as liberals struggle daily to find meaning in their vacuous lives.

I’m not sure who you think wanted to change the Constitution to allow Arnold to run but that appeared to be media driven, not an actual Republican movement. You then have to reach into the past for actors with a Republican bent – they did things like campaign with candidates but none of them disparaged opposing candidates – I don’t recall any of them calling people names, least of all ‘whores’. Their causes were war bonds and support for our military, not demeaning Democrats as being stupid, war criminals, racists, bigots, women haters, wanting to kill grandmom, murders, religious nuts – the list goes on with what Hollywood elite today have said about President Bush and Republicans. There is no comparison but good try.

Sarah Palin and Laura Ingraham are public figures, they are on more of an equal footing than a law student testifying to Congress.
