Holy Cow. I think there's a TV show called "Hurl" where they eat stuff like that, then strap you into a gyroscope to see how long until you.. well, hurl. Were you training for that?

I don't think I could have done that race. Somewhere around, er T3 there, I would have curled up for a nap...

If the clydesdales only have the eat the same amount as everyone else, that's just unfair.

...i think ive found my event. That sounds awesome. Ive been known to occasionally stop at coney island for a little replenishment of food during my long runs. this sounds like so much fun.

I would think you would get stomach cramps before too long! There is no way I could do that!

that's awesome!! I think if they had that in Houston, even my hubby would get into multi-sport and maybe begin to comprehend my obsession

Awesome!
That is just about enough to make me want to move to North Carolina.
(the fact that my name is Duke might just put me over the edge!)

I'd race if they let the under 25 group be classified as DoughBoys.

Aw, who am I kidding, I'd do this race any day. I wonder if they would allow rollerblades on the run and mopeds on the bike.

Oh, and btw, the funniest part of the whole post was "SWIM ON BACK IN AN INNER TUBE: 25 yards". That's the hardest I've laughed in a while.
