ACCRINGTON Stanley chairman Eric Whalley insists the club's attacking options are "immense" after re-signing Lee McEvilly.
The 25-year-old striker has penned a one-year contract with the Reds after League Two rivals Wrexham had cancelled his contract by mutual consent.
Stanley also have the option to offer the Liverpudlian a further one-year deal once he's completed 25 games.
McEvilly originally joined the Reds from Rochdale in the summer of 2004, following an earlier successful loan spell, and scored 15 league goals in 36 starts before moving to Wrexham.
Reds boss John Coleman now has an assortment of riches in attack, with McEvilly joining fellow strikers Paul Mullin, Leighton McGivern, Roscoe Dsane, David Brown and John Miles, while Rommy Boco can also play up front.
"The striker options John has now got is immense," said Whalley.
"There's five or six forwards competing to play up front. It will be interesting to see who John picks, but there should be a lot of goals."
Whalley revealed there may be room to add another fresh face before the start of the new season.
He added: "We are still looking to get another defender. We've got a lot of forwards and we look okay in midfield."
The Reds travelled north of the border today for a week-long tour of Scotland that takes in three pre-season friendlies.
They first take on Brechin City on Tuesday night before locking horns with Abroath on Thursday and East Fife on Saturday.
