This year’s All-Ireland Football Final won’t start at 3.30pm! Throw in will officially be at 7pm the evening before in Croke Park, with the staging of the stadium’s first ever FeverPitch entertainment event.
While a capacity crowd will throng the stadium on Sunday September 18 to see Dublin v Kerry, Croke Park will also be the place to be for all GAA supporters and gig lovers alike the evening before. Featuring top music artists and comedians, the stadium will play centre stage to this specially organised and exclusive pre-final indoor event which will be limited to just 1,300 people.
Monaghan’s Ryan Sheridan will be accompanied by Royseven, The Inishturkbeggers, Bipolar Empire, The Riptide Movement and The Cuban All Stars while the event will be MC’d on the night by Hector Ó hEochagáin. The comedy area will feature favourites such as Neil Delamere as well as up and coming talents, Fred Cooke and Colm O’Regan. This event has something for everyone from eclectic music to banter with GAA Legends; from dancing with festival performers to dodging the flames from fire breathers. All this combined will ensure that Croke Park becomes the place to be on the eve of the action on the pitch. Croke Park is hoping to capture the unique All-Ireland final weekend atmosphere which infects the capital city on the third weekend of September with the FeverPitch gig that will further enhance the already unrivalled experience of All-Ireland final weekend in Dublin.
