On March 17, Democracy editor Michael Tomasky appeared on C-SPAN’s “After Words” to interview author Linda Killian on her new book, The Swing Vote. Killian, a senior scholar at the Wilson Center, argues:
[Independents] have determined the outcome of every election since World War II…and they’re tired of being ignored and unrepresented, and not having a say in how politics and government is run.
