God of Carnage, Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning Best Play, will end its run at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre June 27, the final date the current cast is contracted to play.

The current cast, who began performances March 2, features Dylan Baker, Jeff Daniels, Lucy Liu and Janet McTeer.

In a statement the show's producers said, "We are incredibly proud and thrilled with the success of Yasmina’s brilliant play, Matthew Warchus’ superb direction, and the acting talents of our three amazing casts. God of Carnage has delighted thousands of audiences and we couldn’t be happier."

The latest foursome replaced Jimmy Smits, Annie Potts, Ken Stott and Christine Lahti, who began Nov. 17, 2009. The original Broadway cast featured Marcia Gay Harden, James Gandolfini, Jeff Daniels and Hope Davis, all of whom earned Tony nominations for their performances, with Harden taking the Best Actress honor. God of Carnage also earned Tony Awards for Best Play and Best Direction for Matthew Warchus.

Following a critically acclaimed London run in 2008, where the production earned the 2009 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy, God of Carnage began performances on Broadway Feb. 28 and played packed houses at the Bernard Jacobs Theatre following its March 22 opening.

God of Carnage, according to press notes, "is a comedy of manners without the manners. The play deals with the aftermath of a playground altercation between two boys and what happens when their parents meet to talk about it."

The Broadway production reunites the West End creative team: set and costume designer Mark Thompson, lighting designer Hugh Vanstone and sound designers Simon Baker and Chris Cronin with music by Gary Yershon.

God of Carnage is produced on Broadway by Robert Fox, David Pugh & Dafydd Rogers, Stuart Thompson, Scott Rudin, Jon B. Platt, The Weinstein Company and The Shubert Organization.
